🔒 Privacy, in plain language

This is the whole policy. No 40-page legalese, no dark patterns.

The short version

❌ We don't sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
❌ We don't track you across the internet — no third-party trackers, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting.
❌ We don't manipulate your feed. No engagement ranking you can't see or control.
❌ We don't sell targeted advertising. There are no ads at all.

What we store

Your account (username, display name, password hash), your profile choices (bio, avatar, interests, location — only if you fill them in), your communities, and the content you post. That's the business. We store it to run the service — not to profile you.

Location

When you use "Near me" features, your coordinates are sent for that one request, used in memory to sort results, and never written to disk. The location field on your profile is only what you type into it, and you can clear it any time.

Your control

✅ Your profile — edit or delete any field, any time.
✅ Your location — optional, browser-side for search, clearable instantly.
✅ Your communities — join, leave, or delete ones you own.
✅ Your content — every post has a delete button that actually deletes.
✅ Your visibility — private communities, approval-only joins, and real-name toggles.
